garage sale Shopping Superstars: Always Check Your Garage Sales and Thrift Stores

This is the week I got Natural Glycerine soap for $.37 per bar at a thrift store.  I was definitely ecstatic finding that deal, and it reaffirms to me, and hopefully to you as well, that you can find natural deals at thrift stores and yard sales if you keep your eyes open.

And if you think this is just a one time lucky find, you would be wrong.  I’ve been able to find natural cleaners at thrift stores: Specifically I got 9 bottles of unopened Melaleuca concentrated cleaners for .50 cents a bottle (these things are not cheap if bought online).  In the past I’ve also found cloth diapers, a Champion Juicer, natural lotions, sunscreens and more!  You’d be surprised what people will get rid of, so always be on the alert and visit your local thrift stores and yard sales on a regular basis.

This might work–
Got to maps.yahoo.com and enter your address and click “GO” to set map
Then, underneath is another box “FIND A BUSINESS ON THE MAP”
Type in “Thrift Store” and a list will appear. You can then drag the location to the above box to get directions from your address.

I got a bread machine at my local Goodwill for $15 new in the box. I agree, sometimes you can find amazing things if you know where to look :)
