This week has been a whirlwind. We started our family road trip, and currently I am attending the Savvy Blogging Summit in Colorado Springs. Since I prepared in advance for this trip, and made meals ahead of time, it’s been a very frugal trip as far as road trips go.

Using vouchers and coupons have been my biggest saver for when we stop. And along the way we’ve eaten things like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, cheese, watermelon and chicken salad sandwiches.

Here are a few photos from our trip that I wanted to share with you all.

She says they are good, so they must be. Topped with organic strawberry jam they are the best!

Valpak is my awesome partner for our family road trip. They have great coupons that you can find by location online, and even with a smart phone app. Be sure to visit their website here. All my opinions regarding my partner Valpak are my own.

How did you all do this week? Go ahead, show off all those awesome deals you got! Please link directly to your posts, and I ask that you do not link to giveaways or posts mainly promoting affiliate deals. Let’s encourage one another with our thrifty ventures. No giveaways please. Thanks!

Can you actually use those Valpak coupons without them being printed? Do I just show my iPhone (or android) and the cashier scans the coupon? Sorry I need to research this.
