Today’s Farmer’s Market goodies cost me a total of $18. Not shown in the photo is a watermelon I also bought. Here’s what I picked up:

  • 1 Watermelon
  • Banana Peppers
  • 2 lb Okra
  • Bag of Figs
  • Bag of Cherry Tomatoes
  • Big Zucchini

And I may have to go back and grab another bag of cherry tomatoes, because the kids dove in and have eaten half the bag already. Not too bad for $18, and much of it is organic or at least pesticide-free and non-GMO.

Oh, and just pretend you didn’t see that homemade blueberry-orange muffin that I paid $2 for!

How did you all do this week? Go ahead, show off all those awesome deals you got! Please link directly to your posts, and I ask that you do not link to giveaways or posts mainly promoting affiliate deals. Let’s encourage one another with our thrifty ventures. No giveaways please. Thanks!

It must be okra time! My farmer’s market was overflowing with it. How do you prepare your okra Crystal?

Fried is my favorite, but just not healthy or practical!
