Everything in the above photo cost me a total of $33. It is all organic, and came from FarmersMarketBaskets.com, a local co-op.
- Large Avocado
- Sweet Potatoes
- Grapes
- Pears
- Tomatoes
- Apples
- Oranges
- Broccoli
- Spinach
- Bananas
- Green Beans
- Watermelon
- Lettuce
- Onions
I did a quick poll on Facebook, and many seemed to think this organic produce would have cost me anywhere from $50-$100 if bought at the grocery store. I’d say that’s a good estimate, considering the grapes alone probably would have cost me $15 and the watermelon $9!

Is there a place similar in Columbus, GA that you would recommend??
I can’t figure out how to post a pic, but we hit up the local Farmer’s Market today! Got 6lbs of fresh Mayport Shrimp, 2lbs of all natural top sirloin beef, basket of Georgia peaches, a bundle of black grapes, 2 containers of blackberries, a HUGE zucchini, yellow squash, sweet potatoes, 5 tomatoes, 5 heads of garlic, a head of romaine lettuce, a bag of mushrooms, sweet bell peppers, a jar of honey, a big bag of boiled peanuts!
All organic! I think we topped off about $50!! It was awesome!
WOW! That is a seriously amazing price for all of that!
