I’ve been meaning to share this deal with you all that I got on organic Quinoa, but I keep forgetting about it. I’ve been ready to stock up on some organic Quinoa for some time. This grain is packed with protein and some great nutrients, and is a great substitute for rice. I’ve nearly eliminated rice in our diets by using this grain instead.
We all really enjoy the flavor of quinoa and have been able to make so many dishes with it. I got a 25 lb. bag of Organic Quinoa from Bulk Nuts 4 You on Amazon. The price of it was $70 + $23.60 for shipping. Before you gasp and freak out at how much I paid. This turns out to be $3.64 per pound which, at the time I bought it, was the best price I could find. However, Arrowhead Mills currently has a cheaper price at almost $3 per pound on Amazon with Subscribe and Save. So next time, I’ll go with that deal.
Fortunately I also had some Amazon gift cards I earned with Swagbucks, and I was able to offset some of the cost of the Quinoa. I’m always looking for great Quinoa recipes, so please share your favorites if you have any!
How did you all do this week? Go ahead, show off all those awesome deals you got! Please link directly to your posts, and I ask that you do not link to giveaways or posts mainly promoting affiliate deals. Let’s encourage one another with our thrifty ventures. No giveaways please. Thanks!

We love quinoa! I add it to all veggie soups, stuff tomatoes with a quinoa mixture, cold quinoa salad…yum!
I enjoy seeing all the ways you use those Amazon gift cards.
I keep hearing about Quinoa and how nutritious it is. Is it yummy (i.e., will your kids eat it)? Easy to prepare?
Thanks for the chance to share my shopping trip here, too!
Costco sells organic quinoa for 8.99/4lbs …
Why are you trying to eliminate rice from your diet? I thought that brown rice was quite good for you?
