We seem to have all come down with terrible colds this week, so I didn’t get a whole lot of “shopping” done. It was survival mode around here. While I have plenty in my stockpile to help us have meals, I did have my Mom pick me up some fresh juices from Kroger (these always help us get better faster). And while she was there she picked me up 5 dozen cage-free eggs that were marked down to .50 cents a dozen!!!
I also did the diaper deal at Rite Aid this week, and picked up a couple staples at Walmart.
Total spent this week: $54.85 Total Saved: $39.74 But will be getting back $29.69 in rebates.
I definitely need to get back on my game next week. But it’s nice to know that preparing and saving throughout the year doesn’t mean disaster befalls if I have to spend more some weeks.
YTD Spending: $1,103 ($38.03 weekly average)
YTD Savings: $4,199 (79%)
Coupon Costs: $95
So how did you all do this week? I can’t wait to see the deals you snagged! Please link directly to your posts and not the main page of your website. Don’t have a blog? That’s okay. Tell us how you did in the comment section. Yard Sale brags are always welcome, too!!
