If you’re a teacher, ask if you can get more than 2 of the limited items. My Staples store will let teachers with a reward card (free) buy up to 25 of the limited items at a time. The manager at my store will even let me go through the line more than once if I need more than 25. I stock up my classroom this way!
Where I can definately appreciate that staples offers our teachers (and God bless them!) an exception to the rule of “limit qty 2″ – every time I go to Staples for these deals (and sometimes I can’t make it in until Monday) the stock is GONE and parents who are required to buy these items to send as school supplies don’t get in on the deal! I wish there were a way to still give the teachers that break… and also have enough stock to fill the demand of the parents as well. I do love the staples back to school sales… when I can get in there at noon on Sunday!! Thanks for the post TTM!
Great deal for all the parents, one more month
I was at Staples yesterday and the manager there told me that they will only allow teachers to buy 25 of the extreme value (ie penny items) that are offered. I was kind of bummed (I am a teacher) because the dividers were on sale for us this week and I needed them. The good news is that there are supposed to be more penny items next week (I’m in Central Florida).
