target Target Cereal Deal

Target has yellow $3/3 peelie coupons on select Chex Cereal boxes. There is also a pink peelie that says buy any 3 GM cereals get a 4th one FREE.

Buy 4 Use 1 yellow Peelie and 1 Pink Peelie and you’ve got 4 boxes of cereal for a really great deal.

Thanks Consumer Queen!

I have not been to verify the prices but I believe the small boxes are $2.50. If you go, be sure to come back and tell me how the deal played out!

I didn’t realize that if a coupon was $.xx off of a multiple that you could use multiple coupons? So you can use a coupon for each item in the multiple?BR/Thanks,BR/Lori

No you can’t. One item per coupon. If you are buying four boxes, the $3/3 goes towards 3 of those, and the B3G1 goes towards the fourth box. Hope that helps!

You said to use 3 of the yellow peelies though. I’m confused too.

I’m new to all of this and a little confused. Please don’t take this as criticism, I’m really just trying to understand as the wording on coupons is SO confusing. But, doesn’t the B3G1 free cpn really apply to all 4 boxes of cereal? I often see people use a cents off cpn along with a B1G1 cpn and I’m always confused.

Anon – that is a great question! The B3G1 coupon actually applies to the 4th box that you get. The same way a B1G1 coupon applies to the second one that you get. Since you are getting 2 items, you can use two coupons. Unless of course it is a save $2 on 2 or $3 on 3. I hope this makes sense.
