I did the Kashi deal yesterday, then I was thinking… Walgreens has the cereal 2 for $5.00 this week. Do you think Target would price match?

If they did, you could get 5 boxes of cereal for FREE (with the $1.50 off coupons).

What do you think?

I just checked my mail and my Kashi coupons from Vocal point were there. I guess this couponer will be heading to Target this week :)

Our target has big red signs at the customer service desk saying they price match!

Target does price match, but I believe it’s only if competitor’s prices are NOT sale prices (or clearance). Kelloggs Waffle deal is great though, I don’t have SS coupons but after rebate the waffles are free anyway.

thanks

How could Target not match sale prices? Those are the only prices that ever appear in an ad, and you have to have an ad to price match. That’s the whole point of price matching anyway, to get the sale prices of stores all in one place. I think you may have been misinformed Tanya.

I just got back from Target and really stocked up on Kashi products! FYI, at least at my Target, the frozen waffles were included in the GC deal also — they were either ~$1.75/box (plain) or $2.25/box (strawberry flax). I used the $1 off peelie for any frozen product, which you can find on the Kashi Go Lean Crunch. I made money on some boxes and paid $.25 on the others!

Here’s a dumb question, but how do you price match? Do you get the products first and go to CS or do you go to check out???

I did already get 8 boxes of cereal though ;) I was thinking waffles next.

oh and rite aid has the cereal BOGO this week in their ad, do they ever match those?

Here’s Target’s price matching policy:

http://pressroom.target.com/pr/news/value/our-low-price-promise-facts.aspx

You have 7 days after your purchase to get the price adjusted, so even if you bought them already, you should be able to take your receipt in and get the difference back.

You do have to go to the CS desk after you pay at the registers. Annoying, but at least they are trying :)

I am confused. The Target deal is for Eggo Waffles, but the coupon is for Eggo Pancakes. How do those match up?

Hi, I’m a total newbie so I’m learning as I go :P
I’ve printed 2 Kashi coupons and now it’s telling me I’ve reached my coupon printing limit. How do you ladies get more than 2?
Thanks :)

Make sure you go to a Target that can add/subtract because the one I went to they were complete idiots. They had the cheese for 40cents instead of 50cents each. So since the coupon is for 1 off of 2 they should mark the coupon down to 80cents. I know I’m not gonna make 20cents off of each pair of cheese but the correct way is to mark the coupon to the price of two. I could not get it through their peanut sized brains though. They kept trying to argue that it is for the price of one so they marked the coupon down to 40cents. So really I purchased them for 1/2 off which is still not a bad deal but it’s not free!

I’m answering my own question…just got home from Target and proud to report that I got 5 boxes of Honey Sunshine Kashi for 38 cents each! Woo hoo!

I price matched the Wags ad and used Vocal point mailers for a moneymaker on HOney Sunshine. :)

I have the vocal point mailer that has the free box as well as the other coupons. Does my free box count toward my 5 products to get the GC?

Hey Everyone! Sorry about the eggo deal. I didn’t realize the coupon was for pancakes! The pancakes I believe are included in the sale.
