New York shoppers are now exempt from the 4% state sales tax 365 days per year and this applies to clothing under $110 and shoes under $110.
Hmm, guess Georgia isn’t doing it this year?
It annoys me that Pennsylvania can’t (won’t) offer some tax-free shopping days too. The state government isn’t looking after the taxpayers it seems; they’re more interested in serving the interests of the casino-gambling special interests.
