Not sure if it varies, but my ECB circular says limit 2 on the Childrens Throat Cooler pops.

The Limits are actually found to be higher than the advertised limit.

I bought the pack of 6 Soy Joys a couple of days ago and got the ECBs. They had a whole section of different stuff packaged up that if you buy this you get so many ECBs.

Where are the Soyjoy listed, I don’t see it in the 1/4/08 ad?

Question about agent blue rinse…I purchased 4 today and used two $1 coupons I got from the kidslisterine site, but CVS didn’t print any ECB’s. I asked the manager and she was a bit confused, but said that I was charged the sale price of $3.99, but the ECB’s didn’t automatically print because I didn’t pay the regular price of $5.69??? I argued the fact that they were on sale this week and I should still receive the $3 ECB, and she did say “this time she will give it to me”. Just wondering if anyone else did not get their ECB printed on the receipt automatically?

I still have rainchecks to get the Cool Blue for .99 cents and I still have two $1/1 Q’s. Too bad I just went to CVS and remembered this after I got home.BR/I couldnt find the 6 packs of soyjoy bars though. =(

I just went to the CVS by my house and the two managers said that the throat pops limit was only 2 and they both glared at me like I was crazy when I said it was 5. I just left the store rather than argue…. Maybe I’ll try a different CVS tomorrow, but most seem out of the pops!

I went to my CVS last night and bought 5 of the Soy Joy 6 packs and used my B1G1 coupon from the 1/4 insert and made $12.00. YMMV on this one but my store accepted the coupon! Awesome!

I didn’t get the Soy Joy coupons.BR/What insert was it in?

Yeah, neither cvs near me has the pops, not even a blank spot on the shelf for them. Oh well, I’m not going to complain after all the deals I get there!

both the flyer and the shelf ticket at my CVS say the throat cooler limit is 2, but my receipt said limit not reached, so I bought one more (the last one they had) and got the ecbs.BR/BR/don’t miss the rebate inside the nasal gel box!

I also bought the Listerine Smart Rinse on the 1st and used $1 coupon and my ECB didn’t print. I went back in and showed her the monthly deals and she printed an ECB for me.

I just realized that I shouldn’t have used the B1G1 as it says on the coupon to only reimburse up to $1.39 so this must have been for the individual bars; I didn’t catch it. I used the $3/10 on my next purchase and this one worked fine.

OK not to sound dumb but what are ECB’s?

Anyone else notice ECB’s often do not print. I hate all the time and arguing that CVS takes so I quit CVS for now. Walgreen’s in my opinion treats it’s customer’s way better. Plus I don’t have to waste a lot of time and arguing about getting the deal that is advertised. I never liked feeling like I had to fight for what the sale flyer said.

That’s funny – I’ve actually had no problem with CVS and ECB’s printing. I do have about 5 within 5 minutes of me though, so I could just go to another if I had any problems. I have had several problems with Walgreen’s and Register Rewards printing out, though!

Does January ECB’s mean they are going on all month?

Also how do Walgreen’s Register Rewards work? Do you get a card from them?

Where are the Soy Joy six packs located? I am only able to find the individual bars in the nutrition isle, any suggestions?

I can’t find the Soy Joy 6 packs either and I’ve been to two stores to look. It wasn’t advertised in my weekly or monthly paper either, unless I missed it, but I’ve looked several times.

I checked at several of the CVS stores for the Soy Joy 6 packs. There were only a few stores that had them (usually the larger stores). :)

can you open the box of the throat coolers and get the coupon out to use it for purchase?

“can you open the box of the throat coolers and get the coupon out to use it for purchase?”

I don’t see why not….so long as you purchase it.

thethriftymama January 25, 2009 at 7:21 pm

Starbucksgirl – that is not something that I personally would do. In that instance the coupon is part of the product you are buying. You could definitely use it next time you get one though :)

I cannot begin to tell you how much I scored this month at CVS! All thanks to you!

I ended up hitting my limit on Soy Joy bars today after buying my 10th pack.

The Nasogel has a $3 mail in rebate per item listed on the pamphlet in the box.

Don’t know if it is my state, or what, but I’m not allowed overages. Every time I have a Q for higher value than the item, it only allows the purchase price to zero out.

I’m so irritated with the throat pops though. I have three stores near me and check each of them at least once a week when I’m in the area. I have yet to hit one when they have the pops stocked. Even the day after their trucks come in. Guess I’ll be getting a raincheck on Saturday but bummed my coupon will expire.

Thanks again!

my other cvs store wouldn’t allow me to use the B1G1 free and the 50cents coupons I got from inside the boxes. I was able to do the deal like that at my 1st CVS store, but not the 2nd. She said they only honored 1 coupon per item, and since the main coupon was B1G1, they wouldn’t honor a coupon toward it… hmmmmmmmm oh well!

My CVS allowed me to do the BOGO the first time on the pops. I paid $4.99 OOP and got the $9.98 in ECB.

The second time, the cashier said the coupon stated it was not valid with any other offers and I was not able to use ECB to pay for the transaction. She even called the shift manager over who said the same thing.

I thought ECB were like using cash? Both ladies said ECB are store coupons. I got frustrated and paid cash. Anyone else run into this?

Sassy Stephanie – sounds like more ignorant cashiers. Sorry you had that problem.
