013 300x225 My First Tomato Plant

Well, here it is.  This is my first tomato plant for the year.  It’s actually a cherry tomato plant, which will be great for the kids to pick and eat.  My mother brought it by as a gift and I am thrilled!

I’m actually going to Home Depot on Sunday to buy my seeds for my garden.  There’s a rumor going around that they are having a big Buy One Get One Free sale on all their seeds Sunday Only.  I’ve got my 10% off coupon from Lowe’s, and I’ve got plenty of $5/25 coupons from True Value.  I’m ready for the Gardening Deals!

I have a special surprise for all of you that are following my gardening posts.  I’ll post it by the end of the day.  Here’s a hint: Bye Bye Containers!

I am definitely following your Gardening posts! I am starting my very first one this spring as well–if it will ever dry up enough to till!! I have an Aunt and Uncle with very green thumbs who are walking me through it this year.
Thanks for the heads up about Home Depot’s Sale–I will be getting my seeds there on Sunday!!
Thanks for all you do in your blog–love and appreciate your natural tips as well as your thrifty ones!
