Hey guys! This is Grizz!
A couple of days ago, TheThriftyMama, posted a deal for Joint Juice found HERE. I saw her post and just glanced at it because we don’t have Safeway stores in Texas. However, my sister-in-law found out that Tom Thumb stores (an affiliate of Safeway) were honoring the same deal. It has also been reported that Albertson stores are ALSO running the same deal. So, off to Tom Thumb we went last night. Below is a recap of our awesome trip. I hope that many of you can also take advantage of this deal!
Joint Juice deal at Safeway, Tom Thumb and Albertson stores:
Buy 3-4 Bottles of Joint Juice and get $3.00 OYNO Coupon
Buy 5-6 Bottles of Joint Juice and get $5.00 OYNO Coupon
Buy 7-8 Bottles of Joint Juice and get $10.00 OYNO Coupon
(good until 10/18/09)
***scenario**
1st Transaction:
Buy 8 @ $1.39 each
Use 4 B1G1 Free coupons HERE (print two per computer – this is still a moneymaker even if you can only print two coupons)
Pay $5.56 Out of Pocket, Earn a $10 Catalina AND a $5 off 7 bottles of Joint Juice manufacturer coupon!
2nd Transaction:
Buy 7 more bottles of Joint Juice and filler items (you’ll need about $5.27 in filler)
Use $5/7 Joint Juice coupon from 1st transaction
Use $10 Catalina from 1st transaction
=FREE + another $10 Catalina AND another $5/7 Joint Juice manufacturer coupon!
Repeat transaction at your leisure as this deal doesn’t expire until 10/18!!
I tried to be very careful to make sure my filler items + the cost of the 7 bottles of Joint Juice = $10 or as close to it as possible so that if I paid anything OOP, it would be change dug out of the bottom of my purse. I was able to get ALL of my groceries for this week including 2 gallons of milk, potatoes, vegetables, fruit, cheese, bread, miscellaneous pantry stock-ups, juice, yogurt and some chocolate ALL for the initial $5.56 OOP! Below is a picture of my trip minus the 43 bottles of Joint Juice–which my husband loves! Woohoo!

Wow. That is amazing. I don’t think there are any affiliates in Missouri or I would be stocking up on joint juice! (I’ve never actually heard of joint juice before. To me it sounds like an old person’s drink or something for a druggie. What’s it taste like?)
LOL! I’d never tasted it either (until last night), but it’s similar to other flavored waters and is marketed as a “Fitness Water”. It does have a slightly different flavor, but I didn’t think it was terrible or anything like I’d read other people say. I also read that the Kiwi Strawberry does a good job of covering up the Glucosamine that’s in it.
WOW! This is what I call a moneymaker! I’m tempted. But what do I do with all that Joint Juice?

I’m thinking that this may be a blessing in disguise. My back is always hurting when I wake up.

What states have safeway stores? I’m trying a ton of local zip codes, and nothing is coming up.
I’m super new to the couponing, but I must say I’m becoming ADDICTED to all of these great deals. Anywho…I went to the Safeway website and found out that VONS and Pavillions are Safeway stores and there are a ton near me (I live in Los Angeles)! I can’t wait to get off of work and locate some Joint Juice. I will post another comment once I have completed my shopping…wish me luck
I did this deal today and it works great! My Safeway wasn’t well stocked in Joint Juice but I was able to do two transactions today and I still have my $5 and $10 coupons to try again!
So…I checked around, found the Joint Juice and have been going wild ever since! Haha. I have made SEVERAL transactions and probably have around 50 Joint Juices at my house right now. I actually like the flavor, but started giving some to my neighbor who is an older gentleman. He is so grateful and I’m so blessed to have stumbled upon this amazing deal! Now, I get to stock up on groceries that I couldn’t afford before. Thanks a million!
