0021 300x225 My Walgreens and Aldi Run

Can you believe I actually found one of the monitors and the Ecotrin on a Thursday?  I figured they would have all been gone by Sunday afternoon.

I used my Register Rewards from the Ecotrin and monitor along with some Walgreens coupons to pick up a few things we were in need of.

I got the Epsom salt which is great for soaking in the bath with, and is also a good nutrient for my garden.  I also found these Bamboo, 100% biodegradable pots for $1.33 each.  And of course I picked up more watermelon ($2.99 ea), strawberries (.99 ea) and pineapple (.99 ea) from Aldi.

Total Spent: $20.59

Total Saved: $57.86 (I do not include the savings on the monitor other than the coupon used, because I do not like for those to inflate my savings).

I will separate the planting pots out into my gardening expenses, so that they don’t go into my grocery spending.

saw you bought some diapers…i bought some too this week. y’know they were on sale for 5.99 and if you use the coupon from the pharmacy(its in a pamphlet) they will be 2 bucks off each, so 3.99 each pack!

How are their diapers? My little one pees through a lot at night so I wasn’t sure.

Your Aldi’s is fantastic! You did persuade me to check out our new one and I found a few deals. I was really hoping for $2.99 watermelon, but it was $4.99 up here. The strawberries were $1.29, which isn’t terrible for those! I did see a few other items there that were cheaper than most places so I will be going back.

I’ve been pretty happy with the diaper when I’ve used them.
