Wow is all I can say! I started couponing about the time of the last big deal on diapers at Walgreens and missed it totally. I am so stocking up this week. Plus I will be getting the Almay Mascara and Razors for stocking stuffers, not that we really need anymore makeup or razors, but free is free.BR/BR/This after the Victoria Secret Deal (that I did twice). Crystal,BR/BR/Im still out of luck on the schick razors .. i went today and the manager said i couldnt use the BOGO and the ES together .. bcause the IVC is considered a MFC and it cannot be combined with any other offer .. i asked him if this was something new bcause i’ve always been able to shop using a MFC and ES together .. and he said they’re not supposed to combine the Qs .. is this true?
I went to get the diapers deal and the total was 4.99. The extra 2.00 would not be taken off because it was a promotional price, oh well. 2.50 each is not bad either.
on page 13 of the add it has the oral-b cross action on sale 5.99-2 rr= 3.99. Could u use thte 2 coupons that came in the ad today? $1 off 1 crossaction and BOGO crossaction? BR/2 at 5.99 = 11.98BR/- 1/1BR/-BOGO (5.99)BR/= 4.99 – $4 rr= 99 cents for 2BR/is that possible to do? can u do it but just get one rr since the BOGO? I’m new and was just wondering.
The Diaper deal did not work for me – in Dayton OH.BR/BR/The ES savings did not come off because it says it is not good on promotional pricing or something like that. The coupon from the pharmacy book did take off $2 per pack. My cashier inisted on keeping the coupon though — where many people out there are saying you should be able to keep it intact in the booklet. BR/BR/I still got 4 packs for $10 + tax, so not too shabby, but not as good as it was advertised around the frugal blogosphere.
I did the diaper deal this a.m., too. I didn’t think the extra $2 would come off because of the BOGO promo, shucks!! But, like you ladies have said, $2.50 per pack is awesome!! As for the Q, I was able to keep mine. Wags doesn’t need to collect them b/c they are STORE Qs and don’t have to be turned in to get their money back for them like Manf. Qs. Get a manager to verify that! BR/BR/As for Wags RR deals, only one will print per transaction, no matter how many you buy that qualify for the deal. I just wanted to add a comment to help with a money maker YMMV. Schick Razors $5.99 – $3.00 ESC -BOGO of $5.99 – $2 Schick Q for the Schick Quattro … I did this last night with no beeps or problems. I did have a problem with the diaper q, it beeped and just would not go through. The Mgr did finally push it through, but it was a major issue. My friend and I had to leave and go to another store beacuase one place was being a major pain. Also the purple schick razors are the same price but do NOT work in this deal, we found out the hard way. BR/TheNanny from DS.
Crystal – I bought 4 packs in my transaction discussed above and it did not take any ES off my order – just the pharmacy coupon.
Even if you buy 4 poacks of dipes, it still won’t take off the extra $2. I bought 4 packs this morning, totaling about $10. The register recognizes them as being part of a promo. I did buy the dipes using the pharm Q with zero issues. How strange some of us can get deals to work and others can’t!! I also got the gum this a.m., 4 packs for free b/c there were 2 Qs side-by-side in the insert

Crystal- I discovered another Walgreen’s freebie today. At my walgreen’s bic soleil razors and cartridges are $5.99 each. There is an easy saver coupon for $3 on page 11. In todays smart source there are also coupons for $3 off the razor and $3 off the blades. I think that means I have overage of .01!!!
Ok, here’s my big giant comment.BR/BR/So, my trip to WAGS was frustrating today. Actually a lot of my trips there are.BR/BR/I tried to do the Schick deal. 4 pks of razors, 2 BOGO coupons, and the Easy Saver coupon. 2 of my pks of razors rung up as $8 something so the manager had to be called to void them. I was just going to get the ones that rang up at $5.99. Then he watched the cashier use the coupons. I think the register had problems taking the coupons – I think the cashier said it was saying overage. So the manager told me I couldn’t use the manuf BOGO coupons with the Wags easy saver coupons because they were manufacturers coupons as well~! I’ve used MQ and Easy Saver coupons lots of times at the store with no problems. I think he came up with this story to justify the register having problems. Did anyone else get the Schick deal to go through with the BOGO coupons? The cashier scanned the Easy Saver coupon 1st then the BOGO’s – and I think she said the register said overage. I wonder if it would have worked if she did the BOGO’s first and then the Easy Saver?BR/BR/So then after all this, I went out to the car and realized that they didn’t take the $2 off for my Celestial Seasons tea from the Easy Saver as well. So I went in to return it and the manager just gave me my $2 back! This was after the big long thing that you can’t use a manufacturers coupon with an Easy Saver coupon because their both manufactures. I don’t know if he realized he was wrong or just didn’t want to be bothered, even though the not being bothered part makes no sense to me since he still ran my $2 refund through the register. BR/BR/It always seems like we get the same cashier ringing us up so now I wonder if I’ll be able to use my Easy Saver coupons with Manuf coupons anymore since the manager said this in front of her. Kathy, i ran into the same prob with my razors .. im still hoping for an answer from someone verifying that ES is a MFC .. i didnt want to argue bcause im new and couponing and didnt know any better .. i think the cashier rang up my ES first too so when it came to my BOGOs she didnt know what to take off .. it wasnt my fault though that she scanned the ES first .. i didnt want her to but she was new .. im waiting to hear someone comment .. although a friend of mine said that ES is not MFC bcause it doesnt have an address for the Q to be sent like normal MFC .. i still dont know cause like i said, im new! i would luv to get some razors this wk .. i myself even grabbed a dawn dish liq to hide any overage .. hmmmm
Kathy-BR/I would suggest emailing Wags and request their coupon policy. Print it out and take it with you. Even the manager can#39;t argue with an email from corporate stating an ES amp; manf. Q can be used together. I think Crystal had even posted it on her site before, but I could be wrong! I actually have copies stating coupon policies from the stores I frequent, just in case!!!BR/BR/Also, I have found it best to give Manf. Qs 1st at Wags, then ES Qs. Crystal, would you agree? Sometimes you can#39;t help but use the ES 1st, that#39;s when you get a cashier that#39;s on top of things and is eager to make sure you get credit for the ES Q

You can use a Walgreens coupon and a MFR coupon together for one item. This is corporate policy and I have a couple emails from them saying so. BR/Best order to do, is to give MFR Coupons first, and then Wags coupons. BR/BR/Email corporate asking them about using a Wags coupon and a MFR coupon together. It’s ridiculous that an employee would say you couldn’t. Obviously the ES coupons are not MFR, or we could use them at any store.

BR/BR/I had emailed corporate asking for an official coupon policy before but they never sent me one. I will just email them asking this question in particular. Hopefully that will get me a response I can take to the store with me.BR/BR/Good point about the ES Q not having a manuf address to mail them to for redemption. I did try to argue that the ES Q was a WAGS coupon redeemable only at WAGS but the manager didn’t like that. Then, as fate would have it, a catalina printed that he handed to me saying – for example this is a manuf coupon only redeemable at WAGS. I couldn’t argue with it at the time. It wasn’t a RR but a Manuf Q for $1 off of 1 7UP (or other Dr. Pepper sodas redeemable at WAGS of course). But looking closer it DOES have a manuf address to remit it to for reimbursement while the IVCs don’t. I bet if I pointed that out he would have came up with another story. This begs another question too, are these types of catalinas redeemable at other stores besides the one it came from or only the one it came from? Or is a YMMV situation?BR/BR/Yes, I will be more careful to hand over manuf coupons 1st amp; then IVCs. I think it may have worked that way. I actually asked for them to be scanned that way (manuf 1st) but was told no by the manager and given the old double manuf coupon story. I may try again at my 2nd WAGS (there are only 2 around here). Handing them only the manuf 1st and then the store coupons when they are done. Hopefully I don’t run into an overly helpful cashier either finding and scanning the IVCs for me and then screwing up that store for me too.

Funny thing is when I bought the Always infinity, in this same transaction, I used the $2 Pamp;G manu Q from Sunday inserts and a WAGS coupon for $1 that was mailed to me in with the infinity sample from WAGS. So they accepted a WAGS and Manu Q for that as well. On the same transaction as the razors and Celestial Seasonings tea no less. You’ve go to love them (sarcasm detected). Lol.BR/BR/Also, where do RR fit into the handing over coupon scheme? Manuf coupons, then store then RR? I’ve had it where I did manuf 1st amp; then RR. The RR wouldn’t scan because I bought 2 items amp; used 2 manuf coupons. Ok Fine. But then to my surprise the very helpful cashier voided my 2 coupons, scanned the RR amp; then used both of my manuf Q again and it went through fine! So is it RR 1st, Manuf Q 2nd, then store Q? I’m afraid of doing it this way amp; then the register not taking my manuf Q. On a large transaction that would be a disaster.BR/BR/And Crystal, thank you so much for posting these deals.
