Each week on Wednesday, I spotlight a website that I think is worthy, and give you a little review of it.
In the spotlight for September 30,2009 is Alice.com!

Alice.com is a new site that is a place for you to take care of all your grocery and household needs. What makes this site so special? Check this out:
1) Alice makes it easy to automate and manage your household purchases.
2) Their prices are competitive with big-box stores and they give free shipping with every order.
3) They automatically apply coupons to your order (and offer budgeting tools so that you can keep your spending in check).
4) You save time by eliminating store trips so you can do things that do matter.
You can also Shop By the Best Deals under Other Ways to Shop to see their Top 50 deals on the site. You can shop exclusively by Green/Organic products under that tab as well. They have a wide assortment (trash bags, shampoo, diapers, pet food, laundry detergent, etc.) and are adding new products daily. They also keep track of your products for you, and remind you when you’re running low (pretty cool right?).
It seems to me that the prices on Alice.com are cheaper than anywhere else, you always get automatic e-coupons taken off (no work on your part), AND shipping is always free. Alice may be giving retailers and even Amazon a run for their money. If you’re someone that doesn’t like to coupon, then you may want to check out Alice.com. The other day I spoke with a cashier and she was saying Alice.com easily saved her 35% (compared to Walmart), and she didn’t have to go to any trouble of finding online coupon codes or clipping coupons from inserts. See what Clark Howard is saying about the new Alice.com HERE.
Have you guys had any experience with Alice.com? I’d love to hear your feedback. They are in BETA testing right now, but it looks like this site is going places to me.

I looked at this site a few weeks ago and it looked pretty cool. I haven’t ordered anything yet but might sometime in the future.

I’ve ordered with them once so far. I like the convenience and some of their prices are good, but definitely not all of them. Like any store, you have to pick and choose.
Alice.com sent me an email alert with some great deals: splenda 50ct box i believe is only 99 cents and some other items too. I made my first purchase this morning and only paid 2.04 after tax (shipping free and since it was my first purchase I didn’t have to put 6 items in my cart).
I’ve done one order with them. I got some pretty good deals on trash bags, cat box liners, Magic Erasers and facial tissue.
