When You Mess Up a Recipe...
Make Bread Pudding!

When You Mess Up a Recipe...
I’m not a very good cook (seriously)! That’s why you all don’t very much In the Kitchen stuff from me. I really didn’t pay much attention to cooking with my Mom when I was growing up. She’s a fabulous cook, but sadly I am not. I’m trying to be though! I attempted to make Potato Bread, and it just became a disaster. My bread wouldn’t rise, and the recipe called for way too much flour apparently. My bread was overwhelmed with flour.

This was my first time trying to make bread by hand, and it just didn’t work. So I think I will stick to my trusty bread machine from now on.

Well, rather than waste all those ingredients I used to make the bread, I turned it into Bread Pudding. I’ve done this recipe before, so I knew I could do it. The only thing I should have done different was make more of the liquid custard, because the bread was so dense. This time instead of raisins, I used semi-sweet chocolate chips. Yum Yum! Even I can change a disaster into something edible!
