Some of you just did a double take of that title and asked yourself, did she really just tell me not to follow her blog? Yes I did, and here’s why you probably won’t find my blog interesting and may just want to skip over it.

1. I don’t share every deal that’s available. I simply can’t, because it’s just me typing away at my computer while trying to manage a household.  I have a fabulous woman named Jenn who helps me out with posting every week, but even with her we can’t manage all the deals that come out.

2.  I share crazy posts that might gross some people out. Specifically I raved about my Diva Cup in an entire post for all the world to see.  For those of you just joining in, a Diva Cup goes where the sun don’t shine and I love mine!

3. I won’t always tell you where you can get free junk with coupons. I don’t want my family eating processed foods, so I’m not going to recommend that you do just so you’ll visit my blog.  If it’s got high fructose corn syrup or hydrogenated oils in it, I don’t care if it’s free, I’m not talking about it.

Now if it will give you overage or help you reach your total with a mega event so that you can reduce the cost of your organic groceries, then we might talk…’Cause let’s face it, that’s a pretty smart shopping strategy!

4. I’m a Christ-follower. See let’s just get that part out of the way.  Noweadays it seems like I might as well be admitting to having the plague.  I don’t care what your beliefs are, you are welcome here on my blog.  Will you see me talk about my faith?  On the rare occasion, yes.

My blog isn’t a blog about my faith, so more than likely you’ll see me talk about my faith on my personal blog.  But if you don’t like me mentioning free Christian books, or Veggie Tales deals, then you probably should just skip over my blog.

5. I make money with my site. Yes, I went there!  I make money on my blog through advertising, affiliate links and the occasional sponsored article.  I started my blog to not only help people save money and live better, but to also help my family.

After both my husband and myself lost our jobs and our home at the beginning of the recession, this is what I turned to.  It’s been a blessing to my family, and I hope that it has been to many of you out there.  But if you don’t like the fact that I make money, don’t follow me.  And if you’re a blogger and don’t want to make money at it, don’t visit Savvy Blogging.

6. I do stupid things. One of which may be writing this very post!  I’ve made some pretty stupid decisions and mistakes since starting my blog, and I’m sure there will be many more.

I’ve embarrassed myself publicly, tried stupid features on my site, started a new series and never finished it, wrote about something that I thought was legit when it was really a scam, make spleling errors on a dayly basis and the list goes on.  I’m not perfect, so if you’re looking for that, hit the delete button on your google reader.

That’s me and my blog, and if it’s not a fit for you it’s really okay if you don’t want to follow me.  There really are some fabulous blogs out there that you might like better!

Oh, and be sure that you don’t follow me on Twitter or Facebook, because sometimes I even get political!  And if you don’t want me emailing you daily blog updates, make sure you don’t subscribe to my newsletter either.
